Tryani at Cuculi Presents: Anti-Office Xmas Party

  • St Annes Church, Bristol (map)

A gig held at St Anne's Church, Greenbank on Saturday 16th December. The event starts at 13:00 and has been tagged in the contemporary jazz, contemporary classical, folk, folk-pop and singer-songwriter categories.

Cuculi Presents… the winter gathering we've all been craving. To all the introverts, the freelancers working alone in cold warehouse studios, the people whose idea of a festive experience is crying quietly to poignant folk songs and then bopping to wonky percussion polyrhythms and obscure disco tunes - we've got just the space for you. On 16th December, join us for a whole day and evening at St Anne's Church (Greenbank) to celebrate the Cuculi community - not just artists, but all of you who show up every time and give your deep attention to independent Bristol musicians. We love you!

Tryani Collective, Amy May Ellis, Roland George Harrad, Ruby Geddes, Tom Calladine & Pearl Love will be performing throughout the day in the main church space. In the hall next door, there'll be a space to chat and hang out, plus record spinning from DJ Medusa, festive craft workshops, food and mulled drinks.

Not forgetting the all important secret santa! If you want to participate please bring a mystery gift to be added to the stocking (ideally homemade/second hand… you know the vibe). If you feel able, maybe even bring a spare gift for those who inevitably forget.

General tickets are £15. If you can afford a bit more, please consider buying a £20 ticket, which helps us to provide some £10 for those who can afford a bit less, making the event more accessible for everyone whilst the musicians and crew still take home a wage.
