Spindle Ensemble are a neo-impressionist chamber quartet performing original compositions by composer and pianist Daniel Inzani. They are Bristol based and formed in 2016 as a part of the experimental music collective ‘Bloom‘.
The ensemble’s musical intentions draw stylistically from classical music’s impressionist era, but with additional touches of jazz, world and folk, creating cinematic journeys through sound. Influences and inspiration come from artists Maurice Ravel, Moondog, Eric Satie, Charles Mingus, Somei Satoh and Mulatu Astatke.
