Spindle Ensemble are an experimental instrumental quartet from Bristol’s music collective BLOOM. They perform original compositions by Daniel Inzani that hover cinematically somewhere between classical, jazz and folk idioms, taking inspiration from artists such as Moondog, Maurice Ravel, Charle Mingus and Mulatu Astatke. Their debut album, Bea, was released as a luxury gatefold vinyl edition via new label Adderwell Music in Nov 2017.

“This is cinematic music of a high calibre, executed with eloquent musicianship. Elements of classical composition, jazz harmony and folk sensibilities combine with worldly influences from Ethiopia and the Far East.” ★ ★ ★ ★ Songlines Magazine

"Bea is a masterful piece of work filled with musical innovation and pastoral aspiration performed by musicians at the top of their game. All in all a perfect demonstration of exciting and modern classical music." Line of Best Fit
